Hanson SE model clarinets sound great and look stunning.  Our traditional seasoning process plays a significant role for the wood of an instrument.  You will notice immediately the difference in a Hanson clarinet; the natural colours and distinct graining individual to each finished piece exude quality even before a note is played.

The keywork is mirror polished and finished with pure silver.  Innovative design of keywork linkages help ensure that proper adjustment is maintained, making difficult passages and moving over ‘the break‘ less arduous.

Final play testing and inspection of every advanced and professional series clarinet is done by Alastair Hanson.  An instrument that bears his family name carries his reputation.  No instrument leaves the building until it is deemed a worthy ambassador.
